This course is for House staff who are new to writing constituent mail and need to know the basics.
In this class, House staff will:
- Understand the role of constituent communications in an office
- Differentiate between types of incoming constituent correspondence
- Apply grammar and punctuation rules in a legislative environment
- Perform legislative research and analysis
- Review and analyze examples of constituent responses
This program is conducted by the Congressional Management Foundation under contract with the Chief Administrative Officer of the U.S. House of Representatives.
