Event: Strategic Planning

Program Overview

You made it through the election and you're gearing up for next year. Now what do you do? Developing a strategic plan can provide staff focus in their work, clarity on the Member’s goals, and help to achieve tangible accomplishments. This hands-on workshop will teach you how to use a strategic planning model specially designed for congressional offices.

Specifically, this program will show you how to:

  • Create 3-6 office goals so you have real accomplishments at the end of the year
  • Develop a strategy and action plan for each goal
  • Identify metrics to measure progress
  • Avoid the disasters related to lack of inter-office staff communication and coordination
  • Enhance teamwork in the office
