New Member Training: How to Get Your New Office Up and Running

Program Overview

Was your office unable to attend the Orientation for Senior Aides program hosted by the Committee on House Administration in November 2018? Did you attend, but still have questions? Or have senior staff joined your team who need a top-level briefing on EVERYTHING about getting your office up and running? If so, this session is for you!

Participants will learn to:

  • Avoid mistakes common to Freshman offices;
  • Develop a scheduling system to meet the needs of Members, staff, and key stakeholders;
  • Utilize resources and trainings available to make you and your team more effective.

In addition to CMF staff who have helped prepare new Member offices for decades, senior staff from House offices will be on-hand to answer your questions.
