The Congressional Management Foundation (CMF) is thrilled to hear of today's decision to extend the Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress' mandate through the 116th Congress. We congratulate the Select Committee on its achievements. Today's vote is both a testament to and reinforcement of their work to bring Congress into the 21st century.

Now with more time to examine the institution, the committee can focus on more complex, laborious issues they would have been unable to tackle under their previous time constraints. CMF continues to support the Select Committee, and will continue to offer support as they work to create a Congress more adaptable, accessible, and accountable to its constituents.
