This webinar is designed to orient new, entry-level district staff assistants in the House to working in Congress and what is expected of them in the staff assistant/front desk position. Participants will learn to:

  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service to constituents
  • Navigate the workflow and resources of the D.C. office
  • Better understand the basics of casework and their role in intake

This program is conducted by the Congressional Management Foundation under a competitive bid contract with the Chief Administrative Officer of the U.S. House of Representatives.
