Working in a freshman congressional office can feel like being on a roller coaster with no seatbelt. You have all the challenges of setting up a new business, while navigating the unceasing demands of constituents - and with the next election looming in the not-too-distant future. How an office plans and executes in their first year is a critical factor in whether they have a successful first term (and perhaps whether they even have a second term). Join CMF for the second in our series of trainings for the freshmen of the 118th Congress.

This program is designed from our publication 90-Day Roadmap to Setting up a Congressional Office. This one-hour program will run through your must-do tasks from February to December in 2023. We’ll have panelists (a House Chief of Staff and District Director from second and third term offices) who will provide you with the insight you need to answer: “What is it that I knew at the end of the first year that I wish someone told me at the BEGINNING of the year?”
