This program will be conducted by Sandra Mobley, an expert in leadership and organizational development for 25 years and the author of “Juicy Work: Creating Fruitful Careers and Cultivating Nourishing Workplaces.”

Remember those heady days when you and your team first got together. You were going to help your Member of Congress conquer the world! How did the routine overtake the dream? What sapped the energy, drive, and juice from your job? What are the consequences for letting that kind of environment fester and how do you transform the mundane to the meaningful?

This new Congressional Management Foundation training program for House Chiefs of Staff will help you redefine and manage yours and your team’s work in a way that fulfills and sustains you. The program is designed to help improve your work lives and those of colleagues with practical tools and exercises. In this workshop participants will:

  • Develop your own model for defining when work is “juicy” for you and your team;
  • Learn how to engage and motivate others to find the components in their job that satisfies, and how managers can sustain that feeling;
  • Enhance office productivity and morale by minimizing “trauma and drama”.

This program is open to:

  • House Chiefs of Staff
  • House Committee Staff Directors
