Nominate Your Office for a Gold Mouse Award in Social Media

Attention congressional staffers! Is your office using social media in innovative ways? We want to know about it! As a part of the Gold Mouse Awards for the 113th Congress, CMF will recognize Senators and Representatives who are using social media in interesting and forward-thinking ways. We encourage you to nominate your office for this new award.

Nominations can be for any innovative use of social media, as long as it was used during the 113th Congress. We will consider practices by Member personal offices only. As you consider your nomination, think about whether your office has used social media in exceptional ways to:

  • Improve information-delivery to constituents and/or others (e.g., followers, the press);
  • Foster transparency and accountability;
  • Engage and interact with constituents and/or others;
  • Collaborate or consult with constituents and/or others; or
  • Educate or inform constituents and/or others about what is happening in Congress.

To nominate your office for a Gold Mouse Social Media Award, please click on the link below and complete a brief application. Nominations must come from congressional staff, not vendors or constituents, and must include your contact information. CMF will review the nominations and contact the finalists for more information, if necessary. The deadline for submitting your application is December 2, 2013.

Please share this information with any staffer you think might be interested. If you have any questions, please contact us.
