It outlines guiding principles for the transition, the critical activities and tasks that a new Representative or Senator must focus on during the November–January timeframe for a successful first term, and specific guidance on setting up your office operations.

The 90-Day Roadmap also includes a series of transition task lists with more than 60 tasks organized by priority and timeframe to assist new Members and staff in determining what is most important to focus on in November and December following the election.
